For Thanksgiving this year Kaj and I had a few days off work, so we decided to take advantage and get out of town. First we hit up St. George to visit Kaj's sister and her family. We were able to spend a couple days visiting and joined them for a super fun activity supporting foster care and adoption. They had all sorts of fun activities, including bounce houses and a rock wall.
Kyler was pretty excited to try out climbing the rock wall, after he saw Daddy do it. He was a little afraid of getting too high...though, he loved getting down again :)
They even had Spiderman there doing cool tricks. Kyler got to try out the slack line. He was pretty impressed, but told us "he isn't really the real spiderman, though, he's just wearing a costume!" Kyler's just getting too smart! ;)
After visiting a few days we hit the road again, to head to our next destination... Las Vegas! We reserved a couple nights in a condo on the strip. The kids were in heaven. They loved the pool, and getting to see so many cool sites. When we drove the strip after it got dark and all the lights were going, Kyler kept saying that it was the "best day ever!".
| The water was much colder than expected, in the"heated pool"! |
| Kyler was pretty proud of his super cool spinning moves. He's been perfecting them. |
Playing on the awesome tree house playground at Town Square.

Then it was off to (my sister) Aunt Chan's house for some Thanksgiving yummy-ness! We were able to spend a couple days visiting and have Thanksgiving dinner with the Cox's.
