Life with the littlest one

We are just loving having this little man around... and lately, he's not so little! Spencer is quite the little chunk these days. At his 2 month appointment we learned that he was 14 lbs 1 oz and 26.5 inches long! That's 92nd percentile for weight and 99th percentile for height! We always expected he would be a big baby, since Kaj and I were both very, very chunky ourselves. Now he is going on 3 months, and hasn't slowed down yet!

We have been getting lots of BIG smiles, since Spencer was about a month old, and he has recently starting laughing a little bit.... not much, yet, but he's getting there! He is also so strong! He holds his head up like a champ, and ALWAYS wants to be standing up. He has been able to hold his weight on his legs practically since he was born. He can't wait to get mobile. Every time he is on his tummy, he just pushes and pushes with his legs, and is never happy to be stuck in one spot!

Lucky for us, he has been a great sleeper. He usually only wakes up once to eat and goes right back to sleep. He loves his sleep as much as his Mommy, which is greatly appreciated!

As much as we are looking forward to all his new milestones... we wouldn't mind if he slowed down just a little bit!
