Summer?!

It's strange how Summer completely snuck up on me this year. I can't believe how fast time is just flying by.
Biggest news, as of late... We're buying a house! I won't really celebrate until we have the keys in hand, but we're SO close! Closing is set for June 28th... fingers crossed all goes smooth!

Here it is... our soon-to-be home:

We ended off the school year with Kyler's school program. He received a "Soaring Eagle" award. It's a great achievement for him - he worked so hard this year! He's such a smart kiddo!

Our summer has been great so far... here's the last few weeks, in photo form!

Daddy caught a snake in the backyard... they (daddy and the kids!) were BEGGING to keep it as a pet... mean mommy had to veto that plan! This was the sad farewell ;)

This little booger is getting SO big! He recently discovered his tongue...

Kyler was being super good, so he and I got to have a special date!

 Happy Father's Day (AND BIRTHDAY!) to the coolest Daddy around!

Helping Daddy put his Father's day present (Legos) together - it's become somewhat of a tradition.

Damon just loves Spencer and is always so concerned with his well-being, and  wants to help take care of him. So sweet!

Someone loves bath time!

 Libby and I got to have a girls date and go see Uncle Jonathan's dance performance. She LOVED it, and wants to be a ballerina!

South Jordan held their annual "Country Days" (similar to peach days) and the kids had a blast waving at the floats and collecting candy at the parade.

After the parade, we got to go out for Frozen Yogurt!

The kids are LOVING helping Grandma and Papa tend the garden and watching all the plants grow.

 We spent an evening at the "Country Days" carnival. It got a little chilly in the evening, but we still had a blast riding all the rides!

Kyler was SO brave. He wanted to ride every scary ride there! Sadly he wasn't tall enough for most of them... but he went on every one he could!

He LOVED it.

We even got Libby to go on this one! I was SUPER nervous that she was going to freak out.....

......but she LOVED it and went TWICE!

So much fun with WATER BALLOONS! Though, Libby popped one and was ever after terrified to touch another one!

My cousin Laura has a little guy almost exactly 6 months older than Spencer. They're bestest buds ;)

So much fun! Can't wait to see what the rest of summer will bring!
