A few highlights from the last month... 

We are officially HOMEOWNERS! We (finally) closed on our first home, the end of June. 

One of our favorite features... having our own backyard! The covered patio is AWESOME. There have been quite a few little rainstorms lately and the kids loove to play outside and not get wet!

Lola loves the backyard too... we can play fetch at all hours ;) The second anyone so much as walks *past* the back door, she is begging to play.

Speaking of Lola... Spencer is a BIG fan. He's pretty fascinated by her. For the most part, she shares his fascination, but I'm sure as the hair/tail pulling picks up, she might lose interest... at least until he can throw her toys for her! She's such a good sport though. She's always put up with the all the kids "abuse".

Another affect of the new house... Libby apparently got lost on her way to the bathroom... She didn't quite make it all the way down the hall.

In other big news.. this little man is 

6 MONTHS ! !! !! ! 

It's hard to believe time has gone by so fast! He's actually 6 and a HALF months now, since I'm a little behind on posting... 

STATS:

20 lbs 5 oz  -  87th percentile

30.25 inches long  -  100th percentile

18 inches head circumference  -  92nd percentile

He's seems to already be leaning out a bit, but he's off the charts for height... going to be TALLLL and skinny, just like mom and dad!

With this new milestone bring the fun of starting "big people" food! Spencer's first taste of something other than mommy milk, was... Avocado! 

He wasn't too sure what to think about it! Silly kid.

We've started out slow, but in the last couple weeks we've tried several new things... So far he eats everything pretty well, though some he's more enthusiastic about that others...

Cucumber seems to be a favorite!

   

He's really not very particular about what goes in his mouth these days... ;)

We also celebrated my Dad's birthday this month! We had quite a bit of family in town and enjoyed a yummy dinner and a cake my dad could actually eat! I wish I had thought to take more pictures!

A few weeks ago with got to accompany my sister Meri and her family to the Seven Peaks Fun Center in Lehi (AKA Trafalga) The kids had a blast playing with their cousins and going on lots of fun rides.

Spencer is already getting in on the sword fighting action!

 We sure love having this little guy in the fam.

Grandma and Grandpa's garden is GROWING! Everything is HUGE, compared to that last time we were there. The kids have loved watching everything grow and helping to water and plant the garden.

Libby's sunflowers are taller than Daddy! She's ecstatic about how big they are... even a little terrified. At first she wouldn't go near them, since the leaves are bigger than her head! But, she's VERY proud!
