It's FALL

Fall is here, in full force. Or is it Winter already? It felt pretty wintery scraping frost off my windows the other morning... Anyway. Somehow October has already passed us by. It's hard to believe how fast this year has gone. We really enjoyed Halloween this year. Halloween is probably my most favorite holiday. The kids were super excited about their costumes. Kyler was a Ninja Spy. He was talking about being a ninja for months, so figuring out what to be for Halloween was a no-brainer.

Libby was a fairy princess... or a butterfly, if you ask her, so we decided she could be a fairy butterfly princess. She LOVED her wings. She was "flying" all over, saying "butterfly, butterfly, butterfly".

A week before Halloween weekend, Kaj and I were able to get out and have some "grown up" Halloween time. I dressed up as Cleopatra and Kaj was an "Emo kid", complete with apathetic attitude.

Halloween weekend, we joined my fabulous cousin Laura and her lovely husband Geoff in Bountiful for some fun with PUMPKINS!

.... Although, not the "usual" fun you might have with pumpkins near Halloween. We picked out some prime pumpkins and headed up the canyon... to shoot them!

Fall is one of my favorite season. The leaves have all been changing and now most of them are all over the ground... Winter has been creeping up. We had our first snow fall of the season this last weekend... Of course, it was on the day Kaj and I had scheduled to take our engagement pictures! Luckily it had just snowed all night and morning and by afternoon, the sun was peaking out a little bit. Even though it was FREEZING we had so much fun, and got some really fun pictures.
