Every so often (twice a month, in fact), we find ourselves without the kiddos around to fill our free time. A couple weekends ago we took advantage of some "adult" time, and had some date nights (and day)! Friday night we ventured out to go ICE SKATING! I had a groupon for The Gallivan Center, so we bundled up to brave the outdoor rink.

Saturday night we were able to spend some time with some friends, for a birthday party. It was a nice relaxing night with some great company!
Last but not least.... what better way to wind up the weekend, than with a day of snowboarding! We were able to get free lift tickets and passes for Dew Tour at Snowbasin Resort, from one of my co-workers. It was Kaj's first time snowboarding since, the one and only other time he has ever been, he was 14. Despite some a few scraps and bruises... he claims he had a blast, and can't wait to go again! I was quite impressed at how quickly he picked it up. He'll be a pro in no time ;)
