The last two weekends we have been able to spend a lot of time with both our families. It's been so nice seeing everyone, and we've had so much fun. The kids have loved seeing all their cousins, Aunts, and Uncles.
Last weekend was spent in Southern Utah at the Zion Ponderossa Ranch, for Kaj's family reunion. It's a huge reunion with all his extended family. We were able to camp with his two sisters, Stasia and Seren, as well as his Aunt. It was so much fun to spend a few days camping together, and the ranch was awesome. They had a huge pool with two levels and slides, and the meals were catered. Our camp was close to the bathrooms and SHOWERS, as well as the pool. Definitely the best way to camp!
Then, this past weekend, we were able to spend a few days in Brigham City for some more family time! My parents big house is now empty, as all the children, but one, have moved out! It's just Jonathan (he's 15) and my parents left! It's so quiet around there these days! But, it makes it nice to visit, because they have lots of spare bedrooms! We were also able to spend some time with Kaj's sister, Stasia, while we were there. We ended up going to the movies on Saturday with Stasia and then all going back to my parents for a BBQ. We had planned on have a fire in the big fire pit at my parents as well, but the rain washed us out! We still BBQ'd though! (Thanks to Kaj, who was awesome enough to cook all our food in the rain!)
