September 8th, 2011.... Kyler turned 5! We had just gotten back in town from our trip to southern Utah and my little sister Bekah came over to distract the kids while Kaj and I went shopping for Kyler's "surprise birthday party". His actual birthday was the next morning, so we decided last minute to throw together the party. We had literally JUST gotten home and had to run all over town to get all the birthday fixings.We managed to sneak back in the house while the kids were outside playing and get everything all set up. We had transformers decorations all over and (way too many) presents. He was SOOO excited. I have to try and get the video posted... Kyler is NOT shy about showing when he is happy about something... haha. He was jumping up and down and talking in his high-pitch-super-excited voice.

The next morning we had a huge birthday breakfast of YUMMY cinnamon sugar french toast with syrup and loads of powdered sugar... can you say "sugar overload"? It was an extra fun birthday. Hard to believe little Kyler is already five! He is such a stud.
